About ROCKSOCKI
ROCKSOCKI is based in New Albany, Ohio, and makes electronic drum sets built around a roll-up silicone pad rather than a traditional rack-mounted shell kit. The lineup is built around two core layouts, a seven-pad set and a nine-pad set, both aimed at children and first-time drummers. Every model ships with a headphone jack and two foot-switch pedals, and the pads roll up flat for storage or travel instead of requiring a rack or stand.
The ROCKSOCKI 7-Pad Electric Drum Set is the brand's seven-pad roll-up layout, with a swappable snare and hi-hat position so a left-handed child can set the pads up to match their dominant hand, and it runs from two AAA batteries or USB power. The ROCKSOCKI 9-Pad LED Electronic Drum Set adds two more pads, including a second crash, and pairs them with built-in stereo speakers, pads that light up on every strike, and Bluetooth for playing along with music, along with a rechargeable battery.

Why we recognized ROCKSOCKI
The House of Octave Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose gear consistently stands out in our player-tested category guides. ROCKSOCKI earned it on the strength of the products below, judged the same way every product on this site is: assessed on build, tone, and playability, weighed against what players actually report over years of use, and ranked on merit.
ROCKSOCKI gear we rated highly
ROCKSOCKI 7-Pad Electric Drum Set
A seven-pad roll-up kit with headphones included rather than merely supported. The snare and hi-hat positions can be swapped, so a left-handed child isn't stuck with a layout built for a right-handed player. It runs from two AAA batteries or USB power and rolls up small enough to travel without disassembly.

ROCKSOCKI 9-Pad LED Electronic Drum Set
A nine-pad layout that adds a second crash pad beyond the seven-pad version, giving a child room to grow into a fuller setup. Built-in stereo speakers with ten volume levels let it play out loud without headphones or an amplifier, and the pads light up on every strike. It also pairs over Bluetooth for play-along practice and runs on a rechargeable battery, with headphones included for when the room needs to stay quiet.

- The ROCKSOCKI lineup covers both a seven-pad and a nine-pad roll-up layout, with the nine-pad adding a second crash pad for a child ready to move beyond a basic setup
- Headphones are included with every featured ROCKSOCKI kit, rather than sold separately or merely supported by a jack
- The seven-pad model lets the snare and hi-hat positions be swapped, so a left-handed child can set up the pads to match their dominant hand
- The nine-pad model adds built-in stereo speakers, pads that light up on every strike, and Bluetooth for playing along with music from a phone or tablet
- Both featured kits run cordless, on AAA batteries, USB power, or a rechargeable battery, so neither is tied to being plugged in near an outlet
