Why we recognized Ktaxon
The House of Octave Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose gear consistently stands out in our player-tested category guides. Ktaxon earned it on the strength of the products below, judged the same way every product on this site is: assessed on build, tone, and playability, weighed against what players actually report over years of use, and ranked on merit.

Ktaxon 22 Inch Drum Set Adult, 5-Piece Full Size Poplar Drumset
A full-size acoustic kit at a budget price, with the standard adult spacing a new drummer should learn on: a 22x16 bass drum, a 14x5.5 snare and a 16x16 floor tom. The listing puts the shells at 9-ply poplar. The throne adjusts to five heights, so a tall adult and a growing teenager can both sit at the right height, and the stand legs are double-braced with anti-slip feet to keep the kit steady on a hard floor. A pair of 14-inch hi-hats and a 16-inch ride come with it, along with the bass pedal, stands and sticks.
